Server and Client

Make sure you are using the icafepro  Server 1.12 Version and Client 1.12
version  Download at http://www.icafepro.com/download.asp


Please following the followings steps( assume you are running the English
Language Version)

( A)  Set Client

1. Start the Client.

2. Logon using " Admin " to Client Setup Page.

3. At the Client Setup Page ,Click the "Server IP" Button.

4. Change to Server IP to Your  Server LAN IP.( replace the default IP
222.124.51.106 to Your Server IP Address)

5. Click the Exit Button

5.   Re-start the Client.


( B) Set Server,

1. Start the Server,

2. Logon to the Admin Page.( Default Password is " Admin"

3. Click the "Add ClientIP" Button

4.At the Listbox (  locate at the Left hand  side)

5. Click on the Host 1 : 192.168.2.1 ( this is default )

6. At the Middle table ,  enter the LAN IP to replace the default IP
192.168.2.1   and click the "Add/Update" Button

7 Make sure at the Right Hand side list box the Host 1  IP Address has
changed to the new IP.

8. Restart the Server.


You should see the Server is now being connected to Client  No1.

9. Repeat the Client Setup to Computer 2 and so on

Server Manual :-

Chapter 1

1.Click the                    To view client's computers layout ,icons are display in various background color representing its current status ,e.g standby/online /offline etc. p/s refer to the 'Definition' for details. Left click your mouse on the client icons to view details client's status at the client control frame 

2.Two mode are designed to enable logon client from from Server main screen; (1)Timecode- Prepaid required pay in advance prior to logon to client, Timecode- Postpaid to pay bills after clients logoff from the Server.

3.              Counter recorder at 'Payment area' records client billings data when client logoff from the Server, you can retrieve client's billings records by turn the counter recorder with mouse, you can select Payment with Print or Skip Print , both mode will delete selected client counter record. 

4. Command buttons area are buttons to access to Clients control; e.g Operators checkout ,Member Settings, Timecode Settings, Sales corner, Chat Room, Server Info, Help pages etc. Command button 'Admin'is visible to Administrator mode only, log in as Operator the Command Button 'Admin' is invisible.

5.You can change your Country name at the 'Admin Setup', Country Flag symbol will follow your country name

6.A Status Bar will display Greeting message, Chat message ,and display an alert if there is a Client logon and logoff from Server.

7. To reserve PC for clients, click on the 'Waiting list' Button will prompt you to record client username, key in the username and click the 'Lock' Button to reserve the PC , click the 'Unlock' Button to enabled the next client or reserved user to logon to Server.

8. To customize your client computers layout page , at Administrator mode, click on the 'Unlock layout' button, move your mouse to the gray area underneath the icons and hold on the mouse to drag it to a new position, click the gray area to fix the position. After you have done your new client layout page, click the 'Lock Layout' button. If you want to use the Default layout check the enabled default layout check box and save the setting.

9. If you are not a registered user, click the Icon.  to display your Software Code ,to register you software copy , please go to http://www.internetcafepro.com/buy.asp to buy a license key and paste it to the input box to register.

Chapter 2


1. Left click the Icon                  to view clients status in Spread Sheet View"
2. At the 'Spread Sheet View', first row is PCs No. the cells display in various background color is representing clients current status e.g standby, online, locked ,logoff etc.
3. Left click the cells to view clients details status at the 'Client Control frame' ,control to clients is enabled by using Buttons like 'Logon Client', 'Logoff Client, and 'Waiting List'.

Chapter 3


1. Remote control Client feature, is a XP feature client remote control, please make sure the client is remote control enabled, select a client and click the remote control button to access to the client computer.
2. Logoff Client command, enabled to logoff all Clients or Client on selection.
3. Restart Client command, enabled to restart all Clients or client on selection.
4. Reboot Client command, enabled to reboot All Clients or Client on selection..
5. Admin Logon to Clients computer command, enabled Server to turn on the client computer in 'Admin Logon' mode.

Chapter 4


1. View Server Ram Memory usage etc.
2. View Server Uptime.
3. View Server critical settings.

Chapter 5

1. To generate a new member, click on the 'New' button and a table will popup prompt you to select a subscribe period and data required for a membership registration, the Member rate is calculated in daily basis"
2. To update the existing member database or add a subscribe period, please select the member name from the List Box and fill in new data accordingly, to add a subscribe period, choose a new subscribe date from the Calendar and hit the Update button. A Paybill windows will popup prompt the user to pay, after the payment has made new period will be added."
3. Expired member can only be deleted by the Server Administrator."

Chapter 6

1. Operator to logoff from the Server, click the 'Logoff' button , it is like Punch Card service the Operator checkout time is recorded with complete transaction records during his/her shift period."
2. When Operator or Administrator logon to Server, Operator name and Check in time will be automatically recorded in the Operator Punch Card recorder database"

 Chapter 7

-Timecode-Postpaid 

1. Timecode -Postpaid mode is designed to collect bills after the user has logged off from the Server. Payment is calculated 'Used time' Multiply by 'Rate'."
2. To generate Timecode-Postpaid for users , click the 'Generate' Key ,Three code are auto generated and listed in the List box. To use the generated code click on the code in the List box, a popup message will prompt your permission to proceed to copy the code to the Timecode- Postpaid list box, the code is set active once it is in the Timecode- 'Postpaid' list box"
3. Code will auto deleted when you restart the Server or it can be manually deleted by Operator in charge."
4. Timecode-Postpaid can be set enable user to extend Time on run. When the Time Set is about to expire a popup windows will prompt user to extend the time"

Timecode-Prepaid 

1. Timecode-Prepaid mode is designed user to pay in advanced prior to Logon to Server. Time extension is not allowed on run,the validity period can be extend at the Counter Desk."
2. To generate Timecode for users , click the 'Generate Key', Three codes are auto generated and listed in the List Box. To use the generated code click on the code in the List box, a popup message will prompt user to Pay Bills to proceed copy the code to Timecode-Prepaid sold box, the code is set active once it is in the 'Timecode Sold' box"
3. Expired code is auto deleted when you restart the Server or it can be manually deleted by Operator in charge."

Chapter 8

All Records
1. To view a Daily Report ;Left click a specific date on the All Records calender "
2. to view Summary Reports ; Left click the Daily , Monthly and Yearly Summary Button "

Operators Records
1. Select an Operator from the drop down menu and click a specific date on the Operator Records calendar to view a the Operator's Daily Report."
2. To view Operator Summary Reports ; Left click the Operators Daily, Monthly, Yearly Summary Button "
3. To view Sales Corner's details transaction Records ;Left click the 'Sales Details' Command Button "



Chapter 9

1. Chat message is enabled communication between Client and Server only."
2. To communicate with Counter Desk, key in a message in the input box and click send."
3. Conversation between Client and Server is recorded in the Chat List box. "

Chapter 10

1. Drinks, Snacks , Service or others can be ordered directly at the Counter Desk or you can place an order through a message send to the counter desk."
2. Front Desk Operator to key in the orders to the order table box "
3. Two methods to settle the bills,(1.) Cash payment or (2.)If user is locked on to the server then the Payment can be transferred to his/her account , bills will be included when the user is locked off from the server."

Chapter 11

1. Click the set 'Password' command button to Set or Edit Administrator or Operators Password"
2.Click the Set 'Client IP' command to Add or Edit Client IP Address intend to connect to Server."
3. Click the Set 'Default Database' Command button to delete all the transaction records "
4.Click the Set 'Number of Clients Computer' Command to Set Clients number to be connected to Server ."
5. Click the Set 'Rate' command button to Set Member rate , Timecode Rate."
6.Click the 'Server Info' Command button to change Server Settings."
7. Click the Set 'Language' Command Button to change Language, Country Flag , Currency Symbol.
8. Click the Set 'Shop Name' Command Button to Change your Shop Name"
9. Click the 'Protection' Command button to Set Protection to Server Computer from unauthorized access.

 

Client Manual:-

Chapter 1

1.Click Command Button 'Timecode' to open the Timecode Frame to input Admin Code to Logon to Admin Page.
2.Or in the Timecode Frame input a Timecode Access Key to Logon to Logon Screen.
3.Click Command Button 'Member' to open the Member Frame to input Member Name and Password logon to Logon Screen.

 

Chapter 2

1.The default Administrator Password is 'Admin' . To Change Password ,key in new Password with at least 5 digit length , repeat type in the same password.
2.Click Apply Change to save the Settings.

Chapter 3

1.Key in the Server IP Address you intent to connect , this IP is to connect this Client Computer to the Server .
2.Click Apply Change to save the new Setting.

Chapter 4

1.Select Your Language from the Drop down Menu.
2.Click Apply Change to save the new Setting.

Chapter 5

1.Select a Game/Program serial number from the drop down menu.
2.Click Browse to Search a Game/Program .exe Executive file.
3.Click Add to Add Game/Program short cut and Icon to the Login Page.

Chapter 6


1.Select a Wall Paper serial number from the drop down menu.
2.Click Browse to Search for a Wall Paper files .bmp or .jpg.
3.Click Add Wall Paper to Add new image file to your Wall Paper folder.

Chapter 7

1.Click Shutdown to shutdown the Client computer.
2.Click Restart to Restart the Client Computer.


Chapter 8

 

1.Select items from the list and check its box to enable protect the client computer from unauthorized access.
2.Or you can select the Default Protection Selection Set hand picked to protect the Client Computer.
3.Click Apply Change, and restart the Computer for new Settings to take effect.
